We know many of you have dogs and enjoy exercising with them in the great Maine outdoors. However, dogs are a big problem for us on both the ski trails (where they damage the surface and tracks) and on the snowshoe trails.
PLEASE find another place to play outdoors with your dogs.
ANSA thanks you.
There will be some fun events at Black Mtn this Sunday 3/12/23 including the Youth Development Program race (the little kids) and the Tom Kendall Memorial nordic race.

12:00pm YDP kids race. The "littles" will be racing on a 1/2 K loop and the "bigs" will race on a 2K loop. Mass start.
1:30pm Tom Kendall Memorial nordic race. Racer's choice of a 2.5K or a 5K loop (2 laps on the 2.5K course). Mass start.
We’ve talked about a drop box in the past, and decided that it would be hard to manage, keep safe, tend, and deal with liability waivers in our status as a club rather than a commercial ski area. For non-members, one-time and day passes are available through Lost Valley.
Nordic skiing is allowed any time even if the Lost Valley alpine area is closed. People can go the the office in the LV lodge to buy a pass any time within reason (after 8am).
A great deal of volunteer time and effort goes into creating and maintaining the trails and keeping the grooming some of the best you will find in New England! Here are some tips.
Our sweet trails that we worked together to prepare are now covered in a blanket of snow!
