Mother nature deals us what she will, and then we do our best to deal with that!
Yesterday’s rain showers left a thin glaze over all the trails, but fortunately the groomer churned it up. There are shallow classic tracks set all the way around the field and up the middle, as well as on the Perkinsridge trail,. There is also a skate lane dragged around the perimeter of the field and on the Perkinsridge trail that will be decent too.
Anything that is not groomed is too slick to be skiable, so be cautious to stay only in the groomed parts. We will try to work on the rest of it as the week goes on, and continue to pray for more snow as is our January ritual.
Be careful out there, but there is fun to be had.
