Snowshoe trails are another fun way to get out in the woods for winter fun.
ANSA has 5 km of marked trails that wind through the woods all the way down to a lovely walk along Lapham brook.
Trails are well marked:
-all trails are marked with orange diamonds of some sort.
-interspersed are an occasional arrow color-coded to the color of the trail to remind you which trail you're on.
-every intersection is numbered with a posted map and colored arrows to start you on the right trail.
- Before you start, scan the QR code on the kiosk to link to the trails on the Trailforks site for real time location info.
Please resist the urge to walk along the ski trails - the deep impressions snowshoes make can take a volunteer groomer several extra passes to smooth out for skiing. You're never far from a snowshoe trail leading you home!
