An inch if fresh fluffiness fell last night. Skate lanes in the woods are groomed, tracks are left untouched so this morning’s lucky skiers can enjoy their silky goodness.
Get out there while you still can. Weather gets warmer and wetter starting Sunday, and one of these days we’ll have to say goodbye to skiing in the field for another year. The woods have better cover and may last a bit longer.
Please don’t snowshoe on or beside the ski trails - cover is so thin that the boot tracks left will allow sun to melt those spots into big holes. The snowshoe trails are all packed and ready for you.
