Snow is getting a little thin out there, and sadly it doesn’t look like much heading our way this week. There are some thin spots, but it’s remarkable how good the cover is for the winter we’ve had.
The best skiing this week may be what we call “crust skiing” - off the trails in the field the snow is firm and rough enough for fun skating or classic.
Groomers will try to soften up some skate lanes hoping for decent skate skiing in the field trails and some woods.
Your job is to jump up and down and wave your arms in your own rendition of a serious mid-winter snow dance - a few inches and trails will be sweet again!!!
