In this winter of lucky breaks, the surprise inch of snow that fell last evening was enough to coat our icy base with skiable snow.  Skate lanes are good, tracks are… meh. But it’s skiing!  Check it out. 

After a season of lucky breaks with the snow, we struck out last night. Just a crust of crud left on trails that took a beating in the recent warm weather.  Not good.  

This weekend won’t go down as your favorite skiing this winter - temps stay above freezing tonight so Saturday will be pretty soft. 

All trails groomed this evening, tracks set. 

Skate lanes are firm and flat, classic tracks got a coating of fresh snow, and coverage is good. 

It’s hard to believe but our sweet trails are ready for you. Groomers were able to transform the layer of ice into something skiable, and even reset tracks in places.

What a fabulous bunch of skiing we’ve had in December!  It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the ski and snowshoe trails over the weekend.  Quintessential ANSA.
