The soft layer of snow has brought the field back to life, making for some decent skiing. Groomer Ben will roll this morning to smooth it out. Too thin still for tracks, but fun nonetheless.
The woods are still too thinly covered to groom. If you venture in, be cautious because the soft fresh snow won’t have bonded to the icy layer below. It may be treacherous. I wouldn’t recommend using those new skis Santa brought just yet.
If you’re looking for an outing, it looks like the bethel area has more snow than we do, either the Bethel Inn trail or Carters.
