The good news is that we’ll have a white Christmas, the bad news is that the rain-soaked snow has frozen the layer of snow to a solid impenetrable ice. We ran a groomer up the middle of the field last evening, but I suspect it will be a very firm and icy skate lane, and the skied in tracks will be icy luge tracks. A few of you die hards will give it a try, but be cautious, and avoid the woods. The next couple inches of snow should get us back in business.
